Sanitary Inspection Forms Webinar Series

This three-part webinar series will equip WASH practitioners with the knowledge and practical skills to use the new Sanitary Inspection Forms (SIFs) in the field. Participants will learn how to identify risks to water supplies, conduct sanitary inspections, interpret results, and use findings to strengthen WASH programming and Water Safety Plans. Participants will also have opportunities to use the SIFs in practice, share their experiences, and provide feedback on the forms.

September 3, 2026 – Webinar 1: Understanding Sanitary Inspections and SIFs
Learn why sanitary inspections are important and when they should be conducted. Participants will explore risk pathways, become familiar with the new SIFs, and learn how sanitary inspections can support climate-resilient WASH programming.

October 1, 2026 – Webinar 2: Conducting a Sanitary Inspection
Learn how to select the appropriate SIF for your context, conduct a sanitary inspection, identify potential risks, and correctly complete the form. Participants will also explore practical considerations for using SIFs in field settings.

November 5, 2026 – Webinar 3: Interpreting and Applying the Results
Learn how to interpret sanitary inspection results and use the findings to inform WASH programming, decision-making, and Water Safety Plans. Participants will also share their experiences using the SIFs, discuss challenges and lessons learned, and provide feedback based on their experience using the forms.

By the end of the series, participants will be better prepared to select, use, and interpret SIFs and apply sanitary inspection findings to their WASH work.
