The Uganda Rural Water Systems Learning Exchange (LEX), hosted by ACTS Uganda, is a three-day event that will convene diverse actors working to strengthen rural water services. This exchange provides a platform for NGOs, government agencies, service providers, funders, and community organizations to share knowledge, surface innovations, and address critical challenges in rural water supply.

The event will explore pressing issues such as sustainability, inclusive governance, financing models, climate resilience, and locally appropriate technologies for rural water systems. Through case studies, peer-to-peer learning, and practical demonstrations, participants will gain actionable insights and tools to improve the functionality and resilience of the systems they support.

Beyond knowledge-sharing, the LEX is designed to foster long-term collaboration and joint action. By the end of the event, participants will have built new cross-sectoral and cross-regional connections, developed a collective resource of real-world lessons, and identified opportunities for partnerships that can ensure reliable, sustainable water access for rural communities.
