MDWQ explores practical approaches to assessing and monitoring the safety of water supplies, focusing on water quality testing and sanitary surveys, including their respective strengths, limitations and appropriate applications. 

Participants will examine the challenges of ensuring safe water in low-resource settings and develop an understanding of how a strategic, risk-based approach, such as water safety planning, can help identify, manage and monitor risks to water safety.
