This training is designed to guide you through the initial stages of planning an effective and sustainable WASH in Schools program and explain how to include menstrual health and hygiene in your implementation.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1. Conduct a school needs assessment using the three-star approach.
2. Support school stakeholders in identifying their Star Level.
3. Develop a WASH Improvement Plan with feasible and sustainable incremental changes.
4. Explain the importance of Menstrual Health and Hygiene in WASH in School programming.
Participants will develop a school improvement plan, which can be presented to school leadership for inclusion in their school WASH planning and budgeting.
